Improved agriculture techniques will be disseminated by Norec participants to local youth of Makwanpur |
· Former Norec Participants with coordination with local government will identify the communities. · Youth or farmer groups will be formed on the identified communities. · Norec participants will develop demonstration plots of LEISA, SRI and kitchen garden at the all the formed groups. · Participants will conduct Farmer(youth) Bunisess School (FBS) in the identified communities for 36 weeks. · Learning sharing sessions will be conducted by participants. · Videos on improved farming methods will be made and shared by participants |

Covid-19 affected returned migrants and daily wage workers will adopt improved farming methods. |
· With coordination with Hetauda-submetropolitan, Covid affected migrants and daily wage workers will be identified by participants. · Participants will be engaged on formation and registration of returned migrants and daily wage worker’s groups. · Participants will conduct improved farming methods trainings under facilitation of youth participants. · Demonstration of plastic tunnels for returned migrants. · Learning sharing sessions will be conducted by participants.

Areas for collaboration and delivery of service
The organization focuses on targeting the youths, backward women and marginalized farmers who are far to acquire the government services. For promoting organic farming IVDS as a coordinating partner with Norec, selected the rural areas of Hetauda. Basically, the program run in different wards of Hetauda i.e. ward no. 8,13,14,18,16,03. The Norec participants organized improved agricultural training programmes on different formed groups in those areas. Similarly, the training was conducted for 2 days and 5 days session for constructing the kitchen garden and drip irrigation tunnel farming respectively.
The various process of making organic manure/IPM (Integrated Pest Management) were also included in the course from where the trainees got opportunity to discover the organic manure by utilizing the natural herbs that are easily available in the home areas and forest as well. As the practical experiment were exhibited with in a farmers group, the Norec participants not only shared about the agricultural knowledge but also displayed a lesson that hard work can be made efficient with integrated/group effort by sharing ideas and providing helping hands.
