Background

Integrated Village Development Service (IVDS) is a non-profit making national non-governmental organization of Nepal dedicated to positive social change which is located in Hetauda-2, Makwanpur. It has been working in the field of rural development, social mobilization, child rights, non-formal education, food security & sustainable livelihood and environmental protection, disaster risk management, capacity build up and women empowerment since its inception in 1998 A.D. The prime focus of its activities goes on to disadvantaged people, ultra poor households of rural areas, so called untouchable castes (lower ethnic minorities), conflict victims, children and women. It has been working with different donors since its establishment. Up to now it has already worked with Plan Nepal, USAID ,Save the Children, CARE Nepal, Hellen Keller International, NEWAH, French Cooperation, NARMSAP, MEDPA, World View, DFCC/BISEP-ST Makwanpur, ADB, FSPN, DEO Makwanpr, DDC Makawanpur, Hetadua sub-metropolitan, Kulekhani Third Phase, District Agriculture Office, Bikalpa . IVDS is run by a team of multi-disciplinary professionals for the integrated and holistic development of the community.
